So basically what I'm getting from Glee...

Is that an actor who didn’t get the role he auditioned for, was asked to stick around anyway. He was given a two dimensional character with two lines, and ran with it. He ended up winning over so many people that the show gave him the biggest, deepest, most realistic, and most relevant storyline the show has ever done.

It’s about a character that I’ve been emotionally invested in for well over a year now to finally get explored emotionally, in depth and even in the darkest parts of his mind. This is a victory, for all of us who kept saying that Dave’s story was teaching real lessons to Glee’s viewers. The lesson today is it will get better. That’s pretty powerful.
